​Over this 90-minute presentation, Orion will cover some basics of foraging and mushroom biology, and then we will dive into how to forage for wild mushrooms in Colorado. The class will cover mushroom identification, foraging safety, toxic species, where to go, how to transport and store wild mushrooms, and finally the specifics of a dozen beginner-friendly edible mushrooms.

In this fun and educational class, kids aged 7–12 will explore the world of herbal teas by creating their own unique blends using dried herbs. They'll experience the flavors, scents, and benefits of common kitchen and specialty herbs. This creative class encourages sensory exploration, decision-making, and a deeper appreciation for nature’s plants.
