Eric and Rachael were both born and raised in Southern California. They met when they went to Deaf Pizza night as a way to practice for their ASL interpreting classes. After working as Interpreters for over 10 years, they decided to shift their focus to something new. Eric completed his Waldorf Teacher Training, and they packed up and headed to the Willamette 

Valley in Oregon for a few years.

 

In Oregon, Rachael worked as a postpartum doula and ASL Interpreter 

while completing her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training. Eric taught at the 

local Waldorf School and found a new love for mushroom hunting. His

love for plants, permaculture, biodynamic farming, and fermentation continued to grow. Next on their adventure, they headed to Colorado where they landed in the Roaring Fork Valley for a short time before heading down to the front range. Northern Colorado felt like the place they could finally call home.
